In the past, people used to store possessions that were close to their hearts in tin boxes. In the
same vein, Tinbox Memory is an online platform which allows you to safeguard precious memories of a loved one, by storing photos and words that hold special
meaning to you.
Q : Why should I create a Tinbox? +

As a form of tribute to a loved one, or someone dear to you who has passed on. You can express just
how that special person impacted your life and inspired you. You can also share your tribute with family, friends and the public, with the option to invite
contributions to your Tinbox.
Q : Can I be creative with my Tinbox? +
A :
That’s what Tinbox is all about – getting creative. The Tinbox allows you to apply your own creativity
with the use of photos and words. Have a look around, and draw some inspiration from the different sections on the website.
Q : What do the public and private options mean? +
A :
Public: The Tinbox will be visible in the public gallery. This allows contributions not only from
friends and family with whom you’ve shared the Tinbox, but also from the general public. Your Tinbox will be eligible to enter the contest.
Private: Choose this option if you wish to hide your Tinbox from the public gallery. Only selected friends and family can contribute to the Tinbox. Note
that your Tinbox will not be eligible for the contest.
Q : How do I share my Tinbox and get contributors? +

After you have published your Tinbox, there will be an option to share it with your friends and family
via Facebook or email. The general public may also be able to contribute to your Tinbox, depending on whether you have chosen to publish your Tinbox publicly
or privately.
Q : How do I contribute to a Tinbox? +
A :
If the Tinbox was published publicly, you can contribute to it by searching for it in the public gallery and clicking on the "Contributors
+" button. Then, select the “Add to this Tinbox” function to start contributing. If the Tinbox was published privately, you may only contribute to it
if the creator of the Tinbox has shared the direct link with you via a Facebook message or an email.
Q : How do I search for a Tinbox? +

There is a search bar at the top right-hand corner of the gallery page. You can search for the name of the person being remembered,
or the creator of the Tinbox. If the creator has shared the Tinbox link with you, you will be taken directly to the specific Tinbox.
Q : How do I edit my Tinbox or contributions once I have published them? +
A :
Your Tinbox as well as the contributions made cannot be edited once they have been published. However,
you may contact our administrator if you want them to be removed. Only requests from the creator of the
Tinbox will be considered.

A :
